Feeding on small nations

Small nations are usually better than big nations. Small nations live by their wits, while big nations act by their strength. A big nation will inevitably have plenty of clever people who will dream up ways of holding their dominance and position in the world; big nations are obsessed with their position in the world, improving it, maintaining it and enhancing it. Small nations could live very well with out big nations. Big nations cannot live very well without small nations, as big nations need small nations on which to feed.

Big nations shout the mantra of all powerful people “do as I say, not as I do” and small nations shudder to avoid doing what another says must be done.
