November: Herald the Waltz of Winter

At last, November is getting colder, although not very cold. The sky was clear this morning and in a small patch of sky the moon shone, reflecting the light of the hidden sun in daylight. November is a crisp month soonest ended, its thirty days dark and largely cheerless. The days of November herald the waltz of winter. They stifle voices, making them speak without sense. It would be better gone and I would wish it gone were it not that thus I would wish my life away.
