Silent and the world hears the difference.
The quiet reaches above the noise of the traffic, while we, heartless and eager, feel the silence, in abeyance long flights above the street.
No one is waiting for us. the pomp and grandeur of lives well known and lived in an egocentric cocoon damages both noise and silence which falls upon us and all others alike, not knowing the difference.
We stopped sleeping, to listen.
