Scared and Tired

I am scared and tired; I fear for the future. I am tired by fear. It is hard to live with weary fatigue: it falls from your feet to your shoulders, it pulls your hair by the roots and is a burden which will never fall until the cause of fear is removed and the fatigue is replaced with the feelings that come when you are not frightened. We are not perfect, but praise those who are the most imperfect and worship that which has no soul and when we sleep, we sleep with fear and fatigue – poor bedfellows.
