Feeling Good

I must not forget to feel good. A small piece of happiness can, despite its lack of volume, engulf me entirely for enough moments to protect me from all the pain that might one day afflict me. An insignificant event that makes me smile will overwhelm tears and torment. A taste, a scent and a touch, even if only just pleasant, will mask bitter herbs, foul odours and hurt. I must not forget to feel good.
