The Death Test

Would you know when you will die? It is nearly possible to measure how quickly the cells of your body will decline, and from this an approximate date of death can be calculated. Of course death is certain, but measuring the rate of likely decline of cells using endothelial activity reactivity analysis is not a certain tool. Presumably only when a very large database of results which can be empirically measured against reality, will the death test produce a meaningful result, and then such result will not be certain, because cancer, or an infectious disease, or the living death of dementia may intervene to make the death test results wrong.

The certainty of death is a dreadful reality of life, made bearable by the uncertainty of knowing when death will come.
