We sang our philosophies and dreamed our society. We relived our short histories until our anecdotes became our epics. Come sunrise we wore our coats and wandered around the damp city in the sunshine of the early morning, searching  for more coffee powder and more cheap cigarettes until the full force of the day washed away the magic and we grew old.
