Goodbye, Emperor Penguin, it was nice knowing you

The National Academy of Sciences in the United States has published a study which has examined the likely effect of climate change on Emperor Penguins. Emperor Penguins live in the Antarctic region. They are the largest of all penguins standing up to four feet tall and weighing at maturity about 100 pounds. They eat fish and crustaceans that they hunt from ice free areas or tidal cracks in sheet ice. They are good swimmers and are adapted to life in the Antarctic. Continue reading
