A New Year comes

A New Year should be a time for new hope. The clock winds back to zero and we have a chance to start our lives again, not quite with a blank sheet of paper, but at least with some wishes that the New Year bring our wishes closer to fulfilment and that things will get better.

2008 was a bad year for many people, wherever they lived. In the developed nations decades of frenzied greedy gambling finally brought forth a credit crunch and now millions face losing their jobs. Many have already lost much of their wealth and suddenly the rules seem to have changed, whether you are buying a home (or trying to) or trying to stay in the home that you own by keeping up the hard to find rental or mortgage payments.
