What is the difference between a target and a milestone? Well, it is quite simple. A target is something that you usually hit, for its own sake. If you have a target of making a million pounds then when you have made a million pounds you have hit your target and then must think about whether you want to try hitting another target and if so what that target should be. A milestone is simply a marker along a journey. You reach it along the journey in which you have already decided your destination.
