I read the news today. In Syria at Tremseh some two hundred people were killed. It is not clear how many were killed and whether they were killed by government forces or rebel forces. It seems that perhaps two hundred young men were killed. It is possible that they were rebel fighters killed by government forces. Hilary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, condemned the deaths saying that people had been deliberately murdered. But we do not know who did it. The slaughter is called a massacre.
I read the news today. In Afghanistan Mr Samangani was celebrating his daughter’s wedding in Aybak. A suicide bomber killed Mr Samangani and twenty other wedding guests. The Taliban deny that they were responsible but we do not know who did it. I do not think that Mrs Clinton made any comment. The slaughter is called terrorism.
I read the news today. It seems that many people have been killed by the USA in drone attacks in Pakistan. However, none of the dead people so killed are civilians because all people in a place near a drone target are combatants. It seems that somewhere between 375 and 800 people have been killed by drones launched by the government of which Mrs Clinton is part. The slaughter is called justice.
