To Double Business Bound

There are two businesses in need of our attention.  We must attend to both but we are neglecting them.

Both concern our well-being and our future and the way in which succeeding generations will live and die on our planet.

The first bit of business, whether we like it or not, is climate change. It is clear that climate change, its causes and its alleviation is one important business. We have got to attend to it but we do not. It will become increasingly harder to control as our numbers grow and we prosper.

The second important business that we ignore is the way in which our economies are developing into systems for relieving the rich at the expense of the poor. There is no pithy name for this activity, except perhaps rampant capitalism, but that I fear does not adequately describe the process that is damaging us all and is exemplified by banks selling products that we do not need and manipulating interest rates so a rate that is supposed to be an averge becomes at rate at which they can unduly profit.

We swing from thinking about one to thinking about the other, depending on what immediately pulls our attention. We spend too much time thinking and not enough doing. It is a familiar state of mind.

My stronger guilt defeats my strong intent,
And, like a man to double business bound,
I stand in pause where I shall first begin,
And both neglect

  1. Once again one ignores what has been before the true evidences of climate change outside of mans influence.

    1. the Norse colony on Greenland where they used cathedral dairy farming methods for 450 years.

2.The Anasazi who had a huge civilisation in North America.

These two peoples over several hundred years succumbed to climate change, unrefuteble and finally left there eras never to return unto this day, yet the rest of the planet thrived into what we see today.

We have been to the moon, split the atoms of the gods and created cures and ills against mankind outside of nature, But we cannot work out through the most super computer our weather, perhaps we need the services of old Amos of thirsk in North Yorkshire who for 70 years predicted his local weather for over 70 years.

It is a venerable joke to all that have intelligence that the global warming issue is one of the most powerful political tools ever devised and its very being is now doing very much damage to the global paradigm which.tries in vain to halt whatever process of minds is creating greater pollution in easing the projected cause in our midst, namely the Profit based entity that is driving all pollution to create gains from the enviornment and our natural every day resorces like our sun.

Banks and the humans that own them are the mind set and profit entities that drive the growth based profit paradigm, nature has a similar rhythm but cannot destroy of herself more than is needed otherwise the planet would have died off many eon’s ago.
What this bussiness model is creating is an inevitable drought for mankind, like a virus or a parasitic varroa it will eventually in cycles destroy just enough of itself to halt the further spreading and damage to its host namely the planet and if its lucky lie in depleted numbers to once again reap dissaster amongst the throng.

To elleviate our immediate problem but not cure the ever profitable opportunity, we could cease walking upon childerick and let our childern be children instead of institutionalising them into a commodity as soon as possible, for an example take a look at our feet and where those items of clothing have travelled before they took their first steps.

The further into a global monoculture of profit based organisations all fighting to be the greatest the worse our situation will become, back to the articipherial and local based economy must we travel, a society devoid of large attacking armies and a plethora or reskilled craftspeople instead of children without real life skills driving the road to capitalisation hell.

If we don’t the majority will suffer even greater illnesses in the future, to do that without distractions upon our whole, turn off your Tv set and do something less boring instead.

    • “turn off your Tv set and do something less boring instead.”
