Our environment is in need of some urgent medical attention. It is sick and we must heal it. Instead of sending of the ambulance and rushing the environment into intensive care we seem to be bent on continuing the activities that are harming it and making it more and more sick. Most of us are aware that our environment is injured and damaged but we tend to stand with hushed breath, behaving as spectators instead of as part of the illness. And when the ambulance comes to collect the patient we will resort to hope founded upon superstition.
