Spring drought has turned to summer flooding. Exceptionally heavy rainfall has fallen in most of England and Wales. It is possible that June rainfall in some places will break records which have been around for hundreds of years. The weather in Britain is reflecting the motto of the Olympic Games: faster, higher, stronger, or drier, wetter, stranger.
