A few days ago the prestigious BBC TV programme Newsnight had an article on the Greek economy. There were famous economists and a Greek ex-minister. As part of the introduction that truculent sneer expert, Jeremy Paxman, suggested triumphantly what might happen is that “like a bad kebab Greece is vomited out of the single currency”. (more…)
