First Germany, then Switzerlandand now Italyhave rejected nuclear power. With 57% of the Italian population voting in a referendum Italians have rejected plans to re-commission the nuclear power plants that it mothballed in the 1980s.
In Europe there is an axis against nuclear power. FromNorway throughDenmark, through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, andItaly all oppose nuclear power, as doesGreece,Portugal,Luxembourg,Malta and Ireland. (more…)
