Holland has understood it for some years but slowly London is beginning to understand; the vehicle of the future is not the electric car, but the bicycle. If you have not been to London for ten or more years you would be astonished to see just how many people many their daily commuting journey by bike. Mostly the cyclists are well behaved and I think that they are quite brave; many people driving cars have not yet conditioned themselves to be aware of the silent traveler on two wheels, so the cyclists are risking injury every day.
